The National Deepavali Festival 2017 was held under the patronage of President Maithripala Sirisena and Prime Minister Ranil Wickremesinghe at Temple Trees, yesterday (15th Oct.).

 

 

The Hindus world over celebrate Deepavali, the festival of lights next Wednesday (18th Oct.).

 

The President along with the Prime Minister extended their best wishes to the Hindu people in Sri Lanka and around the world.

 

The Opposition Leader R. Sampanthan and Prison Reforms and Hindu Affairs Minister D.M. Swaminathan also participated on this occasion.
